Hello, my name is Louise and welcome to my website Hope Calligraphy. I have a passion for creating Modern Calligraphy Art, inspired by God’s Word.

I began to learn Calligraphy in 2017. I remember the first time I picked up a watercolour brush pen and attempting to master the up and down strokes, applying varied pressure. It was extremely difficult and challenging and often I wanted to give up. Becoming a calligrapher required a lot of patience and perseverance. Being the overcomer that I am and seeking to conquer the challenges I continued and practiced for hours, days on end.

This soon became my favourite pastime. I found a new creative outlet that allowed me to express myself. Being a child of God and wanting to share God’s Word with others, I thought why not amalgamate the two. Writing and Truth! So here I am. I decided to call my business Hope Calligraphy as I feel our world is, in need of hope. Hope in God’s love and promises.

I have created bespoke handwritten frames. My desire is to encourage and remind people of God’s Goodness and never-ending Love, Mercy and Grace, with a beautiful piece of Art which incorporates biblical truth and inspiring messages. I can also take orders for custom made frames and personalise this for you.
